21/08/2004 - Olympics Time

Hi All, Its Olympics time which means I am not getting much sleep trying to watch all the events. Go Aussies!
It also means its been one year since I was overseas. It does feel like a long time ago now.
I have some friends travelling at the moment, Jason and Geraldine are travelling through Europe and Joanne in the States. I hope they are having fun!

Since I last wrote my cousin Anthony from USA visited Australia. He does motorcycle freestyle tricks and performed at Calder Park. It was very impressive.

I had my birthday in June, in which I turned 29. It was actually a quiet one, as the winter really kicked in and as I missed winter last year travelling my body really felt it, so I was in hibernation mode.
I also began Italian class, which was a committment I made to myself after travelling last year. It is my attempt to improve my italian and reduce the amount of dialect knowledge.
I recently hosted my Annual Cointreau Party with special invitations to all my cointreau drinking friends, where we had a great night reminiscing with some classic dance music and successfully drank quite a bit. Until next time. Ciaos
