Hi All,
This is the first blog of the trip and we have done so much already. It didnt begin well with a 6 hour plane delay in Melbourne, but we finally made it to New Zealand to visit Liz sister and family, which you can see some photos.
It was good to catch up with Bill and Mike and little Steven for the few days in Opunake.
After that we landed in Santiago, Chile were we spent 3 days attempting to blend in with the locals eating empanadas and drinking pisco sours. The city was very polluted but when you could see it there was an amazing view of the Andes mountains.
We are now in Buenos Aires were are tour has jus started. Last night we had a tango lesson and saw a show, which someone I got caught up in. Very funny!!
I was lucky enough to visit, my mum uncle just outside of town. He is 85 and doing well. He has a nice garden and was happy to see us. It was great to spent some time with him.
